Voice Over IP Telephone Systems

 

CYPRUS PBX offers Asterisk Based telephony solutions, with a rich and flexible feature set. Besides classical PBX functionality a set of advanced features is also supporded, while it interoperates with traditional standards-based telephony systems and Voice over IP systems. Features like Voicemail, Conference Bridging, Call Queuing and Call Detail Records.

Asterisk Based telephony solutions consist of purchasing the following hardware:

     Telephony server: Usually a XEON server is preffered

       PRI/ BRI/ Analogue card: This is the interface with the telephony provider (CYTA, Primetel, Cablenet, e.t.c). In case that a SIP trunk interface will be used, purchasing this card is not necessary.

       Digital / Analogue Extension Cards: These interfaces used in case the customer wants to have analogue or digital devices connected to the telephone system. In case where IP/SIP telephone devices will be used, these interfaces are not necessary.

      PoE Switch: This network element is needed in case where IP telephony devices will be used, and eliminate the need of power supplies of the devices

     Telephony Devices: The customer can choose analogue. digital, IP, Soft Clients
